What is it?

A customized comparison of Salesforce consulting businesses that are a potential fit for your organization's Salesforce needs, based on WHC’s proprietary data set of over 400 businesses drawn from Watt's List, the AppExchange, and LinkedIn, along with a private consultation with Watt to review and discuss. 

Who's it for?

Nonprofit organizations who are looking for the best-fit consulting partner to implement, enhance, or expand upon Salesforce, when one or more of the following is true:

  • You have not yet begun to research your partner options and want a big head-start on the process.
  • You have begun your research process but are not confident you have surfaced the best options for your organization and its needs.
  • You are close to finalizing your research process and would like validation and comparison of the options you have identified, and any final recommendations.

This service can also be used by other businesses working with nonprofits on their partner selections. 

What does it include?

  • You’ll provide us with information about your organization, the criteria for your Salesforce project, as well as any partners you are considering, if known.
  • We’ll provide you a side-by-side comparative analysis of the businesses that represent the best prospects for your project, using multi-year data on over 400 businesses, drawn from the AppExchange, Watt’s List, and LinkedIn.
  • Watt will meet with you for 30 minute call to review the data, answer any question, and discuss next steps.

A one-time fee of $599.

How do we get started?

Fill out the Research Request form and pay the one-time fee. Within 10 business days of submission, you will received your customized research results and a link to schedule your consultation call with Watt. 

Partner Selection: Guidance

What is it?

Work with Watt as your advisor to help guide, direct, and inform your partner selection process, to ensure you have the clarity and confidence you need to set your project up for success. Also includes Salesforce contracting guidance. We can start wherever you are in the process. 

Who's it for?

Nonprofit organizations who are seeking a consulting partner to implement, enhance, or expand upon Salesforce, when one or more of the following is true:

  • The organization does not believe it has sufficient internal knowledge of Salesforce or of Salesforce projects to effectively guide partner conversations, evaluate partner proposals, and validate project plans, license proposals, and statements of work.
  • Due to the size of the potential Salesforce investment, the organization wants greater confidence and assurance that it is selecting the partner with the highest probability of creating success.

What does it include?

In this engagement, Watt Hamlett will work with your internal project lead to:

  • Conduct partner research as described in the Partner Research Consultation to ensure you have identified the best-fit  partners for your organization’s Salesforce needs
  • Review and make recommendations for your partner selection process
  • Review and offer feedback on your intended Salesforce plans, as to what types of services, timeline, and budget you are likely to need
  • Help shape the agenda of, and participate in, meetings with prospective partners
  • Review partner proposals and provide feedback
  • Provide a template for side-by-side comparisons of partners and proposals
  • Provide a partner scorecard template
  • Recommend interview questions for partner interviews and reference checks, and participate in calls
  • Review and make recommendations on final statements of work
  • Help you navigate conversations with Salesforce, and Salesforce proposals and contracts
  • Meet with your internal team throughout to discuss, troubleshoot, strategize, and make decisions
  • Generally advise your team to ensure successful outcomes of your partner selection process

How long does it last?

  • The minimum engagement is one month, and the typical engagement is 1-3 months.
  • How quickly we get through the process is based on the timeline of the process we agree on, how much time your team can devote to the process, and how responsive your prospective partners are. 

What is required of the organization?

  1. An internal Project Lead who will be the point-person for the selection project and is responsible for driving to a decision. There is often an internal selection team that this person leads. 
  2. An Executive Sponsor, with whom we will meet periodically during the course of the selection and who is accountable for outcomes.
  3. Allowing WHC to be actively involved. Including us in all relevant communications and meetings and providing access to the partners and internal stakeholders so that we are in the best position to guide and advise.

What does it cost?

$6,000 per month, minimum one month commitment.

How do we get started?

  1. Contact us to schedule a planning call to review your anticipated needs, plans, timeline, and resources for your selection project.
  2. We will provide a Statement of Work and a simple Consulting Services Agreement for your e-signature.
  3. Once you have signed our Statement of Work, we will send the initial invoice and schedule a kickoff call to begin work. 

Partner Selection: Complete Project

What is it?

Watt will run your partner selection process from start to finish.

Who's it for?

Nonprofit  organizations who do not have the experience and/or capacity to manage their partner selection process themselves.

What does it include?

In this engagement, Watt Hamlett will provide everything in Partner Selection: Guidance above, plus:

  • Selection project plan creation and management
  • RFI/RFP authoring, distribution, and collection
  • Facilitate vendor presentations, discussions, interviews, and demos
  • Partner comparison management
  • Partner scorecard management
  • Facilitate vendor scoring, review and final decision

How long does it last?

  • The typical timeline is 4-5 months
  • How quickly we get through the process is based on the timeline of the process we agree on, how much time your team can devote to the process, and how responsive your prospective partners are. 

What is required of the organization?

  1. An Internal Project Lead who is responsible for and empowered to ensure the organization is engaged and the timeline is maintained.
  2. An Executive Sponsor who is accountable for leading the organization to a decision and can allocate funding and sign a contract for an implementation.
  3. A Decision Team of ideally no more than 5 people who will review documents, engage with vendors, attend meetings and make a recommendation on the chosen firm.

What does it cost?

Starts at $21,000, and can go up from there depending on scope.

How do we get started?
